COMBINE LEARNING FRENCH WITH RELAXATION BY THE SEA

Are you looking for the right way to improve your French while still enjoying your holidays?
Intensive French courses in Saint-Malo might be just what you’re looking for. They are designed with this balance in mind: classes take place in the morning, leaving your afternoons free to enjoy a real holiday in a seaside setting.

Located in Brittany, in the département of Ille-et-Vilaine, the old town of Saint-Malo (intra-muros), protected by its city walls, is surrounded by three beaches. The Sillon beach, stretching over 3 kilometres, is one of the most popular beaches in France according to the well-known travel guide TripAdvisor. It offers long seaside walks without ever leaving Saint-Malo.

A former privateer city, Saint-Malo has a rich and prestigious past. Wealthy merchants, great explorers such as Jacques Cartier, the “discoverer” of Canada, privateers and sailors who spent months at sea fishing for cod have all shaped the city’s history and its deep connection to the sea. Despite this maritime heritage, Saint-Malo is easily accessible today: a high-speed train (TGV) connects the city to Paris in just three hours.

Which level is the intensive course best suited for?

The intensive French course is particularly suitable for false beginners (A2), intermediate (B1-B2), and advanced (C1-C2) levels. At these levels, you already have a foundation (basic if you are a false beginner, more solid if you are at higher levels) that allows the twenty hours of lessons to be a real opportunity to make progress. The semi-immersive environment also helps you develop your communication skills.

Not sure about your level?

Don’t worry! You’re not alone. It is actually quite rare for a learner to accurately assess their level, especially since comprehension and speaking skills are rarely equal. Usually, we understand more than we can express. I carefully form the groups to ensure a balanced learning experience. Moreover, each group is limited to five participants, so everyone can take their place and learn at their own pace.
